Pandemic caused by coronavirus has changed the usual work regime of choirs in Prijedor. Instead of a concert alive that citizens of Prijedor have already accustomed to, the choirs in the city of the Sana river will join this year’s marking of the World Choral Day with recordings from their previous performances. The great anniversary in Prijedor in 2020 – 135 years of organized choral music, has been completed by establishing the new City Choir Prijedor and a great number of our fellow citizens who want to sing in a choir. Despite great difficulties caused by coronavirus in all spheres of life, choral music goes on in an online edition. It is our pleasure to join us the large choral family across the world and contribute to the 30th anniversary marking of the World Choral Day.
Here follow the recordings of the choirs:
- City Choir “Prijedor“ and conductor Aljoša Novaković performing the Russian song “Moscow Nights“ , music: Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi, choir arrangement: K Kostrikov
