Choirs to compete at this year’s Festival

Artistic Council of the 19th International Choir Festival “Zlatna vila” 2020, who worked/ was composed of   Aljoša Novaković, president and members  Goran Vuleta and Nebojša Aleksić, has completed a very difficult  job of selection of choirs which will  perform at this year’s Festival. Amongst strong competition of 24 applied choirs from several European countries, the Council has selected the following choirs: 

  • Ženski pevski zbor „Carmen Manet“  – Women’s Singing Choir ‘’Carmen Manet”

Zgornja Besnica, Slovenia 

  • Kamerni hor „Emanuil“ – Chamber Choir “Emanuil’’

Valjevo, Serbia

  • Concert Choir ‘’Perezvony’’ School of Art ‘’Mihail Glinka’’

               Sanct Peterburg, Russia

  • Mješoviti hor „Lege Artis“  –  Mixed Choir ’’Lege Artis“

Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina   

  • Choir of Maritime University of Szczecin

Szczecin, Poland  

  • Pjevački zbor „Cum decore“ – Singing Choir ’’Cum decore“ 

Liberec, Czech Republic 

  • Mešani pevski zbor „Prosavus“  – Mixed Singing Choir “Prosavus’’

Trbovlje, Slovenia

  • Warshaw University of Life Sciences – Chamber Choir

Warshaw, Poland  

  • Ženski mladinski hor – MKC – Women’s Youth Choir

Skopje, Northern Macedonia 

We congratulated the selected choirs and already look forward to meet and spend time with them during several days in May in our city. The choirs which missed just a bit to perform in Prijedor this year, we wish a lot of success in work and not to be discouraged to apply next time.
