Women’s Chamber Choir “A Vista” of Serbian Cultural Artistic Society “Dr. Mladen Stojanović” won gold medal in Bijeljina

Women’s Chamber Choir of the Serbian Cultural Artistic Society “A Vista“ performed at choral competition “May Music Festivities“ which was held for the 18th  time in Bijeljina. The competition was held in several categories: mixed choirs, women and men choir, Orthodox spiritual music, children’s choirs, ensambles with traditional music and vocal – instrumental ensambles – in total 38 ensambles from Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.   Our Choir won the gold medal in its category.

“I am very satisfied with our performance, particularly, with gold medal and I am proud of Choir’s members.  Given the fact we are an amateur choir and this is our first competition we have been preparing ourselves for half of year, the pleasure is even bigger. This performance, gold medal and nice time on a lovely day, are a big inspiration and impetus to move forward. I would like to invite new members who like to sing to join us”, Branka Marčetić, conductor of the Choir said.

The success of the Choir has now opened some new opportunities for cooperation.

“This is, by all means, a wonderful and important news that spread quickly via media, social networks especially. We already have offers for cooperation and tours for our Choir.  Thanks to our Festival “Zlatna vila” at which we hosted over 120 choirs and made many friendships and contacts, it is not problem for us to arrange for our Choir to be a guest or tour in the country or in abroad. I sincerely hope our Choir will improve and accomplish new success and we are here to support them”, Nebojša Aleksić, Secretary of the Society added.
